1977

Fahr-mit-Reisen was founded in 1977 by Willibald and Hanni Wagenhäuser.

The first coach, a Kässbohrer S14, took passengers from Hassfurt to Hofheim. A second coach was added to the fleet that same year.

We mainly catered to groups and school classes who booked day trips and also outings lasting several days.

1981

We extended our offer and produced our first travel catalogue. Since then we have dedicated ourselves to discovering the best holiday regions in Europe and Asia.

In addition to 3 and 4 day trips to the classical holiday destinations in Europe, we successfully carried out coach trips to various countries.

1986

We went on our first round trip to Russia. In addition, we travelled to Scandinavia and the North Cape.

1987

We added the luxury Setra S 215 HDH high-deck coach to our fleet. We explored Egypt and, the following year, North Africa and Morocco.

1989

We extended our programme to include round trips and beach holidays in Turkey.

1992

We added one of the first extra-high-deck buses in the area of Hassberg to our fleet. It has 3 axles and offers every comfort imaginable.

1995

We added yet another Setra extra-high-deck coach with 3 axles to our fleet.

1996

Fahr-mit-Reisen entered into cooperation with Beach-Bus Touristik, a group of well known and quality focused coach tour companies which aims to pass on the advantages obtained through this cooperation to the customers.

1998

We added a new extra-high-deck Setra S 315 HDH coach with 3 axles to our fleet. We have since travelled to many destinations near and far with this coach.

2000

Jürgen Wagenhäuser becomes the director of Fahr-mit-Reisen. We have been benefitting from his 32 years of experience in the tourism industry ever since.

2002

We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a spring festival in Hofheim. We celebrated together with other Hofheim companies, our customers and friends from near and far in a large marquee and used this opportunity to inaugurate our new coach, a Mercedes Tourismo SHD.

2003/2004

Due to our great success in the previous year, we decided to have another spring festival!

2005

We introduced the Incoming department. Since then we have been going with our guests from all over the world to the most beautiful and most interesting places in Europe.

2006

We added a new high-deck bus, a Mercedes Tourismo RHD with all imaginable comforts, to our fleet.

2010

Our founder Willibald Wagenhäuser celebrated his 80th birthday in June!
